What Meadowbrook of Racine Offers

In our Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF), our caregivers can provide as little or as much assistance with daily activities and living as our residents require, along with many programs and services to help residents enjoy life and stay safe and comfortable.  And, because we have the highest level of CBRF licensing, we can also support individuals requiring full assistance, including hospice care.

Our one-level facility has access to everything—without the need to climb stairs or use an elevator.  With a square design and wide walkways, residents can move freely throughout the residence to access common areas or to stay active.

Plant your roots in our community and we’ll help you grow and live life to its fullest.

Care and Support Services

Each resident receives a Level of Care (LOC) assessment before admission—and periodically thereafter—to promote the highest level of independence and to establish a personalized pricing structure based on individual needs. In addition, we offer (or can arrange for) a wide range of specialty services to cover almost anything a resident may need or desire now or in the future, with all associated costs provided up-front so you can choose what works best for you or your loved one.

Our base structure includes services and amenities for daily living, including:

    • 24-hour service staff

    • Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner

    • Recreational and activity programming

    • Medication supervision

    • Assistance with activities of daily living (i.e. help with dressing, therapeutic stocking, etc.)

    • Transportation for planned group outings

Safety

The safety and comfort of our residents is a priority of the staff and ownership of Meadowbrook of Racine.  Our community is equipped with:

  • A 24-hour awake support staff

  • CBRF-certified caregivers

  • Alarm pendants that can be worn as a necklace

  • In-room sprinkler system

Enrichment

According to a study by the MacArthur Foundation, about 70% of physical aging and about 50% of mental aging is determined by lifestyle—including the choices we make every day. Rather than being a process of steady decline, aging can be a time of growth if we maintain our physical and mental skills, reduce our risk for disease and injury, and stay productive and engaged with life.

Meadowbrook of Racine can help with everyday life enrichment by offering residents the opportunity to grow and expand their social ties, cultivate hobbies and interests, stay active, and stimulate the mind through purposeful activities and community pursuits.

We keep our activities calendar posted so that residents stay apprised of the events and activities we offer, including:

    • Cards

    • Baking

    • Musical performances

    • Senior Safari presented by the Racine Zoo

    • Exercises

    • Gardening

    • Bingo

Residents can use our community amenities to live life to the fullest:

    • Relax on our outdoor patio

    • Take a walk indoors in our safe, one-level building layout

    • Meet other residents and participate in our larger group events

    • Join us for cards or bingo
